Peppers on July 8, 2007. |
Two early girl tomatoes were picked on June 29 along with the first two cucumbers. These items (yellow squash, some of the cucumbers, and the Armenian cucumber) were picked on 7 July, 2007. This year's garden is about three weeks ahead of last year's garden. |

This year Clarence Kritsch allowed me to plant pumpkins, butternut squash, spaghetti squash and acorn squash in his garden a few miles west of town. This is the squash patch on July 6, 2007. I found several pumpkins about the size of a softball that day. |
